I obtained a PhD degree in Performance Practice at Cardiff University studying with Professor Kenneth Hamilton. I also obtained a Masters in Performance degree at the Royal College of Music, London, working with Professor Kevin Kenner and Nigel Clayton, and completed the Bachelor of Music with Honours Programme at the same college. I am an active piano performer, an accompanist and a piano teacher, being settled in London. I have been teaching pupils of any age and level, from beginners to advanced BMus students, preparing them for ABRSM exams (all grades, including music theory), auditions, various exams and recitals. In 2013 I joined Teaching Agency. Since 2011 I have started to teach BMus students in the University of Birmingham, usually once a week. Currently, I am also a teacher at Winchmore Secondary School and Hatfeild Primary School. Since 2004 I have been working on gaining not only instrumental qualifications, but also teaching experience. Therefore, I took part in many placements as a part of a Students Associates Teaching Scheme in major secondary schools in London. I also took courses in teaching music in early childhood (including nursery groups), in primary and secondary schools (including St. Angela’s Secondary School, St. Marylebone School, London Oratory School and Fortismere School in Muswell Hill). I hold a valid DBS disclosure certificate. Additionally, since 2013 I have been an organist for Sunday Polish Masses at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church in London. Teaching is one of my main interests. I devote a lot of time and enthusiasm for teaching and to go more into teaching profession, as I have always wanted. My dream is to make a contribution towards young musicians. I hope that my Polish background and also studies in the British system of education will be beneficial for any potential pupils. References are available on request; I am very happy to forward to you the references of my teachers as well as those written by the parents of my private pupils. |
